The Eurocaja Rural Foundation has opened the registration period to participate in the 11th edition of its 'Solidarity Race', which for the second consecutive year has the challenge of raising awareness of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and raising funds that will go to research and social assistance for the sick throughout the area of operation where it operates.The purpose of this initiative is to turn this race into a national reference in the fight against this degenerative disease, as well as to raise awareness in society about the need to support patients and families in this noble cause Outlook Email Lists The full amount of registrations and donations to the zero number will be distributed among the 5 beneficiary entities: ADELANTE CLM, ADELA MADRID, ELA CASTILLA Y LEÓN, ADELA COMUNIDAD VALENCIANA, ELA REGIÓN DE MURCIA.
Test details and how to register
The race will take place in person on October 1 in Toledo and will be held virtually from September 25 to October 10, through social networks with the hashtag #CarreraSolidariaFundacionECR.
The event will maintain its departure and arrival at the Eurocaja Rural headquarters (C/Méjico, nº 2), but will include several new features to make it more attractive and inclusive among all athletes. Additionally, in this edition, participants will wear t-shirts with a novel design, which includes the significant green ribbon that represents the fight and support for patients affected by ALS.
Regarding the routes, in addition to the Solidarity March that will take place before the start of the test (10:00 am), there will be two 5 km routes (valid both for people who want to run and for those who want to walk: it is about of an accessible and inclusive route that also allows the participation of any person with a disability) and 10 km (demanding, aimed at runners: a circuit that seeks to delight its participants, as it runs through the Valley and the Toledo Monumental), as well as various routes for children's categories (starting at 11:30 a.m.).
Once again this year, this solidarity test has the collaboration of the Toledo City Council, which has been involved so that the city dresses in green in the Race against ALS, as well as collaborating companies and entities.

The first three finishers in each category (male and female) will receive a prize, with the exception of the Solidarity March and the children's events. Participants will receive a runner's bag (it will include a t-shirt specially designed for the 'XI Solidarity Race'), they will have food supplies, as well as medical service and, for the entire public, there will be entertainment, a children's play area and various information and product sales stands. of the beneficiary entities at the start/finish of the test.
